Vancouver House
Next-Gen Water Defense for Modern Living
As one of Vancouver’s most distinctive luxury developments, Vancouver House faced severe operational exposure in 2021 when a major pipe leak damaged multiple elevators and common areas, resulting in substantial financial losses. For fully completed, occupied high-rise towers, retrofitting conventional shutoff valves has historically posed significant friction—requiring invasive pipe cutting, wall disruption, and building-wide water shutdowns.
Following approval at a Special General Meeting, Vancouver House selected BAYS Technology to deploy the Quick-Fit Valve Controller across 375 residential units. Engineered specifically for existing buildings, the solution retrofits onto existing manual ball valves without pipe cutting, designed to minimize disruption during installation. Once fully operational alongside BAYS leakage sensors and 24/7 monitoring, the system is engineered to isolate leaks within 10 seconds of detection, significantly reducing future water risk and supporting long-term insurance stability.
